About Antonia

Antonia Peña has been a professional photographer since 2002, having built her business in Madrid (Spain), and is now establishing herself in London as a prominent fashion (glamour) and food  photographer. Antonia started her artistic career by doing selfportraits and becoming an artist of Dolores de Sierra Gallery in Madrid, holding exhibitions worldwide (TIAF Toronto (Canada) 2005, Manage Museum (Russia) 2005, Art Fair “DEARTE” Palacio de Congresos de Madrid Cultural Center, Madrid (Spain) 2008, "Re-Género" exhibition at Cultural Center of Spain in Lima (Peru) 2009…) and Spain main cities. After becoming internationally recognized as an artist, he began to make covers for important magazines like Playboy, Interviú (Spanish magazine) among others. Antonia is a member artist of ArtBridge.biz in London.

 

Her passion for gastronomy led her to contact big companies, prestigious chefs and the best food magazines in Spain starting to make shoots for them and due to her success in food photography, she became one of the main recognized photographers in Spain.

 

With an edge and immediacy to his work, Antonia’s images evoke emotion and sensual tension. These qualities, together with her firm belief that strong photography needs to have a sense of movement, are unmistakable in her style.

 

Antonia is an internationally published photographer, with previous clients including: Playboy, Maxim, Zoo, GX Magazine, Spain Gourmetour Magazine, Vanessa Kandiyoti, Hoss Intropia, Royal National Ballet, BMW, Miele, Pepsico, Cafés La Mexicana, Royal Spanish Cannery, Ramón Peña Canned, Disop Products, Fandicosta Frozen Foods.

 

Advice and direction is available at all stages of a shoot, with stylists, makeup artists, location finders, model casting and direction all available on request. Sessions are shot digitally and the client can be involved in the creative process.
